As a hypnotherapist with more than seventeen years of experience, Sheila Swenson, CH has extensive and advanced training enabling her to help clients with a wide range of physical, mental and emotional issues. Ms. Swenson is an Illinois state certified hypnotherapist in Clinical and Pediatric Hypnotherapy as well as Complementary Medical Hypnotism, by the world-renown Leidecker Institute and the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Sheila Swenson is a former owner and instructor of Hypnotherapy at The Leidecker Institute. She has instructed doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists and counselors on how to integrate hypnosis into their lives and professions. Ms. Swenson is a recognized member and past President of the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists and has been a featured speaker for the Association for the Advancement of Ethical Hypnosis, the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference, as well as the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo. She has also been featured as a guest speaker and hypnotherapy expert on The Steve Harvey Show. Ms. Swenson, has had the privilege of being accepted for inclusion and contribution, in the Heritage, Presidential, and the Montclaire Who’s Who publications.

With an office in the downtown Chicago Loop, Ms. Swenson is available for private hypnotherapy sessions, group sessions, speaking engagements and corporate events.
