Ms. Swenson is a Chicago based hypnotherapist and energy healer with over 20 years experience. She specializes in stressed, analytical professionals and utilizes various techniques as needed to empower clients to control their state and create their realities. Her focus is permanent change with a protocol curated over many years into The Swenson Method, which utilizes a complex blend of advanced techniques for truly amazing results. She is education oriented and fully committed to helping others not just understand the power of their own mind but to harness it and use it well. From healing trauma to achieving mastery, she’s a thought leader, consultant and powerful healer who works with busy professionals, top performers, celebrities and elite executives alike. She also works independently with hospitals and wellness centers.
Sheila Swenson, CH has extensive and advanced training, enabling her to help clients with a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional issues. Ms. Swenson is an Illinois State Certified Hypnotherapist in Clinical and Complementary Medical Hypnotherapy by the world-renown Leidecker Institute and the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is trained in Hypno-Birthing, Oncology, Rheumatology, Analgesia/Anesthesia, Gestalt and Ericksonian techniques, among others. She is also extensively trained in NLP, along with Chakra, Pranic, and many other energy healing models.

Sheila Swenson is a former owner and instructor of the world renown The Leidecker Institute. She has instructed doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists and counselors on how to integrate hypnosis into their lives and professions.
Ms. Swenson is past President of the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists and currently a recognized member. She is also a long-time member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and has been a featured speaker for the Association for the Advancement of Ethical Hypnosis, the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference, as well as the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo. Ms. Swenson has had the privilege of being accepted for inclusion and contribution, in the Heritage, Presidential, and the Montclaire Who’s Who publications as well as numerous others.
She has appeared as a guest speaker and hypnotherapy expert on The Steve Harvey Show and been featured in many radio shows and publications, including but not limited to, Chicago Health and Beauty, Mindful Metropolis and Voyage Magazine. She has also been mentioned in Sara Connell’s best seller, "Bringing In Finn.”
With an office in downtown Chicago Loop, Ms. Swenson is available for individual and group hypnotherapy sessions, long-distance sessions, speaking engagements and corporate events.
